Enrolment Information

The school caters for children from Grade R to 7 (Rand Preparatory School) and offers Grades 8 to 12 under the auspices of Rand College. Our school follows the Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS) but we write the IEB (Independent Exam Board) examinations.

Through the employment of innovative staff, the use of modern technology as well as traditional teaching methodology, the school shall strive to realise its founding core values for the children in its care.  In so doing, we shall strive to create independent thinking, resourceful and well skilled children.

The school shall make it its mission to Equip today’s children to take their place in Tomorrow’s South Africa.  This shall be achieved through following an innovative methodology and the use of technology to prepare our learners for a 21st Century workplace.

Rand Preparatory and College is an independent (private) co-educational, GDE & IEB registered school situated in the beautiful surrounds of Bezuidenhout Valley, Eastern Johannesburg.

Rand Preparatory and College is accredited by UMALUSI Council for Quality Assurance in General and Further Education and Training to offer the National Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4) under the auspices of the Independent Examination Board (IEB) until 31 December 2025.
